i did it.
i finally did it!
after giving myself a month long pep talk, i got some free condoms.
for those of you who know me, i’m very pro-wrapping before tapping. std’s are no fun, i hear. babies too, for that matter.
i’ve always heard that my school gives out free condoms, and i’ve wanted to get in on that free fucking action, but i was just too chicken to ever go to the health center and ask for them.
but today, i did it. i psyched myself out for about twenty minutes. things like: “you are almost 20 years old, you can get some condoms,” and “don’t be a pussy,” ran through my mind.
and then i busted into the pharmacy, went to the front desk and exclaimed, “I’d like to get some condoms!”
and the lady just had me fill out a form and handed me some rubbers.
small feat, yes.
big deal, yes.
